GOODBYE 2012

Just thinking back on 2012 and all the events that has happened in my life in 2012. Don't really remember some dates, and some I do. Well of course two happy date are our birthdays Gary's the 29th and mine the 30th of January....coming up fast ! Didn't do anything special and probably will be just another day in 2013. Of course we had a lot of Grand kids birthdays to celebrate this year, they are always fun. June 15 Gary and I were married for 38 years. Just went out to dinner. Had some sad news this year, my older brother Clifford Sturges passed away on September 16th and that was really hard. He had just turned 62. I got a job taking care of an 87 year old lady named Lydia. Basically all I do is make her breakfast and lunch, and a few things around the house. Very easy job and believe me I think it's the only job I can do right now, because of my physical condition. I am out of shape, and have many health things going on. Besides being overweight, diabetic problems, neurophy in my feet, kidney failure, fibermylgia and of course good ole back pain. Have I listed enough ? Oh yeah, high blood pressure. But all that being said I hope to get rid of a lot of those problems in year 2013 just by losing weight !  I only went one place this year and that was to a cabin in Lake Tahoe with my daughter and her family. Gary stayed home. Made lots of  jewelry and sold some. Had a Boutique at the Lathrop Senior Center right before Christmas. After reading over all I did, I'd have to say it's pretty pathetic...I can basically sum up a whole year of my life in a 1/2 page. Is this it ? Next year has to be better !!!!!!!!!

GOALS FOR NEXT YEAR: 
Go to more places... even if by myself.
Say "I Love you" more
Do something to make a difference to someone
Spend more time with GOD !!!
Get involved in something...church, bingo (not someone)
LOSE WEIGHT !

Christmas 2011

WE HAD A VERY NICE CHRISTMAS DAY. OUR DAUGHTER AND HER HUSBAND AND THREE OF THEIR KIDS, PLUS OUR SON AND HIS WIFE AND THREE KIDS, AND ALSO MY MOM AND BF CAME OVER FOR DINNER. LATER, MY SISTER AND HER BF CAME OVER. THAT WAS A BONUS !

 Kelsey Grace......My Princess !      

My Grand Daughter ! How precious she is. I pray God will use her for his purpose on this Earth and that she will be obedient to him. I pray that God Blesses her way beyond her dreams and keeps her safe all the days of her life. I pray this for ALL my grandchildren. In the Name of JESUS ! Amen !

So much to do today and don't feel like doing anything ! 
Got up this morning & was running into walls, what's up with that ?  Was gonna lay around in pj's today, but someone wanted to come by and get honey, so much for that idea. Oh well ! 


It's funny how somethings we like to do 
                 and then there's things we don't:  like .......
I love to cook, don't like cleaning up the mess:
I love to do laundry, don't like putting them away:
it's fun putting dishes into the dish washer, 
                don't like putting them away:
sleeping in my bed, don't want to make it:
taking a bath or shower, but don't want to clean it:
like spending money, but don't want to work for it:
it's always easy to let someone else do it for us!
We all can use change !
see trash on the ground, pick it up:
a chair needs pushed in, push it in:
taking your dish to the kitchen, offer to take theirs too:
put your shoes where they belong:
straighten up the hand towel you just used:
wipe your feet !, or offer to sweep:
don't expect someone else to do what you can do for yourself.

ask yourself "What can I do to help?"


or how about manners, try to always say
      PLEASE or THANK YOU !
OR tell someone "I love you" 
          without expecting the same back !

Everyday we have to make decisions 
and some we like and some we don't, 
but that being said with God's help, 
we can make the right decisions. 
The rest is up to you !

Baby Caleb's Baby Shower

Diapers, Homemade Burp Clothes, Blanket

And a stuffed Monkey and Lion Toy. Also

some letters of Caleb's name. 

    Chris is the one who gave the Baby shower for
    Mark and Becky.  She did a wonderful job !!!

   Due Date: August 24..... Can't wait to meet my
                        New Grandson !!!

New Years at Lighthouse Church

I started the 2011 New Year out at the
 "Lighthouse Church" in Lathrop. Hopefully my home away from home now. I just started going there and love the messages, new friendship and hopefully new growth in the Lord for this new year and forever. I am looking for my relationship with the Lord to grow even stronger and learn more about him. Fellowship is sometimes hard for me, but making myself be out there because I know God wants me to get involved ... he has a purpose for me, just not to sure what is in store for me yet. The night was fun, sat around sharing, playing games and getting to know some new friends.

CHRISTMS THIS YEAR WAS A LOT OF FUN SPENDING TIME WITH OUR FAMILY. WE

SPENT CHRISTMAS EVE WITH MY MOM, MY SON MARK AND DAUGHTER-IN -LAW BECKY AND TWO GRANDKIDS, NICK AND JJ.

THEN ON CHRISTMAS DAY I COOKED A TURKEY DINNER AND MY MOM HAD SPENT THENIGHT SO SHE WAS THERE TO OPEN PRESENTS WITH US. OUR DAUGHTER TONYA AND HUBBY, SHILOH AND FOUR GRANDKIDS, CHEYENNE, JOSHUS, AIDAN AND KELSEY WERE THERE. MY BROTHER ERNIE AND SISTER IN LAW LINDA CAME AND THEIR SON RYAN AND HIS GIRLFRIEND GINA AND HER TWO KID, ETHAN AND LILY ALSO CAME. IT WAS REALLY NICE TO BE WITH FAMILY. WE ALL GOT STUFFED AND PLAYED THE GAME BS FOR AWHILE.
